History of A.I.J College

The college was established in 2009-10. It was for General Science. In 2011-12 college expanded with graduation in Computer Science. From the academic year 2021-22 this college started post-graduation courses i.e M.Sc Chemistry and M.Sc Botany. In the academic year 2022-23 this college started Bachelor in Commerce (Accounting in Finance) & Bachelor of Management studies (BMS).

At present it is the only Degree College in Science in Murud Taluka. This college is Re-accredited by NAAC in academic year 2024-25 with B+ Grade and 2.69 CGPA. This College also received Best College Award, Best Principal Award, Best Teacher Award, Best Non-Teaching Award by PROTAN in 2021-22. In the year 2022-23 this College received Best College Award from Kokan Alpasankhyank Wichar Manch, Raigad

Objectives

Education is the fulcrum to actualize human potential in this rapidly changing world landscape. In this direction, A.I.J Murud College is committed towards accomplishing the following visions:

  • To help students to discover their hidden talent and worth
  • To produce determined persons with broad, secular outlook and clear percept to stand firmly as a good human against the present toxic and gloomy situation of the country
